Built out of need and the desire to solve for a pain point

Gessie the founder started her business because she wanted to solve for a pain point that she and many others at one point in time have found themselves in…Living life going through the motion rather than being fueled and alive by our life’s purpose/partner.  To succeed in solving the problem she had to first, better understand herself and how other individuals come to find themselves stuck and in this position living life on autopilot  rather than really living life. GB consulting Group, LLC was born because she,  as the Founder and CEO, relentlessly wanted to solve for this particular pain point that she and many others found ourselves in….sitting stuck, pausing life in the wait, or living life merely through its’ motion, rather than being fueled and alive by our life’s purpose and or chosen partner.  To succeed in solving the problem, she 8+ years ago knew she had to better understand herself and how other individuals come to find themselves stuck and in this position of living life on autopilot rather than really living it.

The understanding for her came after a simple yet radically honest conversation she and a friend had where she was asked, “What happened to the Phoenix Fire you had within you prior to motherhood?” She recalls after the phone conversation her response, rather than getting upset that her friend did not understand the many changes that happen to a woman after childbirth, she chose instead, to focus on giving herself a personal month-long challenge by asking herself the following question, “What would it look like to live this life in truth and without apology.” What started out as a simple question became her road map back to self and what ultimately birthed GB Consulting Group, LLC.  This life I live in truth is more than a saying, a motto, it is a philosophical movement rooted in knowing the truth and having the language to grow proficient in when authenticity, healing, mindset shift, empowerment and transformation look like when they meet and are in active process.
