A VFC Signature Engagement

The Financial Master Review

One comprehensive engagement that puts every part of your financial life on the table — and brings every VFC discipline to bear on optimizing it. Delivered as The Master Custom Guide— your written, prioritized strategy across every layer of wealth.

What It Is

Your whole financial life examined, stress-tested, and engineered as one plan.

The Financial Master Review is the front door to everything Valentine Financial Consultants does. In one coordinated engagement, our team puts every part of your financial life on the table — tax, business, investments, real estate, retirement, insurance, estate documents, debt structure, cash flow, and the goals behind them — and identifies exactly where you’re leaking money, missing protection, paying tax unnecessarily, or under-optimized.

Then we redesign each piece so they finally work together: less tax, lower fees, better-protected, tax-efficient income, a sharper plan for transfer, and a clearer path to the life you actually want.

The Master Review
The Nine Layers

Every Layer Of Your Financial Life. Audited. Optimized.

Each layer is reviewed by a specialist — and then integrated with every other layer by your lead VFC strategist.

01 · Tax Strategy & Credit Map

Multi-year strategy across income timing, entity structure, retirement contributions, R&D credit, cost segregation, ERC, QOZs, charitable giving, and Roth conversions — designed to lower your lifetime tax bill.

02 · Business & Entity Review

For owners: entity structure, owner comp, valuation, retirement plan design, M&A readiness, and the decisions quietly shaping your exit.

03 · Real Estate & Investment Audit

Allocation, fee analysis, depreciation, 1031 strategy, and tax efficiency across every account — including outside assets, 401(k)s, and held-away holdings.

04 · Retirement Income Stress Test

How long your money will last under different markets, withdrawal sequences, Social Security timing, and longevity assumptions — plus plan design optimization.

05 · Insurance & Risk Diagnostic

Coverage gaps, overpayment, asset protection, and advanced strategies like COLI, SERP, Section 162, and premium financing — redesigned around your full picture.

06 · Estate & Legacy Strategy

Wills, trusts, beneficiary designations, transfer strategy, and the documents that protect your family — engineered to minimize the taxable event upon death.

07 · Debt & Lending Structure

Securities-based lines, mortgages, business debt, and liquidity — re-engineered so leverage works for your plan instead of against it.

08 · Cash Flow & Capital Planning

Where money comes in, where it goes, and what’s available for opportunities — across personal and business balance sheets.

09 · Goals & Life Mapping

The most important layer. What you actually want — for yourself, your family, your business, and your legacy — and how every other layer should be aligned to deliver it.

Common Questions

About the Master Review

Do I have to become a VFC client to do a Master Review?

No. The Master Review is a standalone engagement. Many clients use it as a second opinion on their existing advisors and accountants. If we’re a fit and you choose to engage VFC afterward, the team that built the plan is the team that helps execute it.

How long does the review take?

Most Master Reviews are completed in four to six weeks, depending on complexity. Business owners, multi-entity households, and ultra-affluent families typically take longer because there is more to coordinate.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on complexity — number of entities, asset count, business interests, and depth of work required. We provide a fixed quote after the initial intake so there are no surprises.

Do you share my information with other firms?

No. Your information is handled by your VFC team under strict confidentiality. We share documents with your existing professionals only with your written authorization.

Is the Master Review only for ultra-affluent families?

No. It’s designed for any business owner, entrepreneur, real estate investor, or household with enough complexity that a coordinated strategy review is worth more than the cost. We’ll tell you honestly during intake whether your situation warrants one.

What if I already have an advisor, CPA, and attorney?

That’s common. The Master Review evaluates whether your existing professionals are actually coordinated and whether the strategies they each recommend add up to a single, optimized plan. Often they don’t — and the review shows you exactly where.

One review. Your whole picture. A real plan.

If you’ve ever wondered whether your financial life is actually working together, the Master Custom Guide will answer it.
